Senior Cloud Security Analyst

Summary
The cloud security analyst will have responsibility for design, implement and monitor various aspect of IBC’s Azure cloud infrastructure. The cloud security analyst would also research, design, document, and modify security specifications throughout the production life cycle. Additionally, the role provides support and guidance to the developers, QA, helpdesk, network, and database support team.
Duties & Responsibilities
Leading the security design of Azure public and private cloud infrastructure
Planning, testing, and implementing security solutions for the monitoring and protection of company assets in Azure cloud.
Analyzing and monitoring security tools and technology such as Sentinel, Azure Monitor, Azure Firewall, Endpoint Protection, Vulnerability Management, DLP, perimeter security, DDoS and other
Deployment, management, and optimization of Azure cloud and container security tools
Developing required documentation to help operationalize and automate technologies in close coordination with development and network team to ensure compliance requirements are met
Continuously identify areas needing improvement, create action plans, and execute to implement changes in a timely manner.
Qualifications
University degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent fields
Minimum 10 years’ experience in designing and implementing security solutions.
Understanding of complex technical environments including traditional datacenter, public cloud, private cloud, multi-cloud, and hybrid with Azure.
Experience with tools such as Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, Azure Firewall, Azure AD
Extensive hands-on experience of MS 365 and Azure security, MFA, and Azure Intune
Leading the security design of Azure public and private cloud infrastructure
Planning, testing, and implementing security solutions for the monitoring and protection of company assets in the cloud.
Knowledge of security controls and solutions to protect cloud native products and services
In-depth understanding of Cyber Threat Intelligence concepts
Experience with Azure Automation and PowerShell
Strong technical leadership skills.
Strong planning and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, management, senior executives, and external stakeholders (industry, government, vendors).
